About your windows 10 bug, read about it on the red dot discussions. I also have the same problem. When you first launch the game instead of clicking just move the mouse around and see what the pointer looks like, if it looks like the windows pointer then just simply press the Start button once. you should notice the in game pointer comes back. you should now be free to play the game as usual. Its working for me so far, just don't click anything until you press the start button, but only press it once. hope that helps.
