That's what we did when we abandoned feudalism and class-based society for freedom. In the recent past, 99% of society were commoners who obeyed and worked for the nobility, the elite. The United States of America was the model of freedom which inspired the rest of the world. The rest of the world used to love America; people flocked from all over, literally risking their lives to make it to her shores, to the "Great Melting Pot". You notice how it's not until now, after a century of leftist subversion, of taking America further and further from her founding principles, that other nations have developed a negative opinion of her?
