An axial compressor increases air pressure in stages: -Rotor blades: speed the air up (add kinetic energy) -Stator blades: slow the air down (diffuse it) and convert that speed into pressure -Repeating stages: this speeding-up → slowing-down cycle repeats many times, building pressure step by step Why blades get shorter -Air gets denser as it’s compressed - volume flow is needed in later stages -So the flow passage shrinks and blade height decreases In short: The compressor works by repeatedly speeding air up in the rotors and slowing it down in the stators, which converts velocity into pressure; as the air becomes denser, the flow area shrinks and the blades get shorter.

As a top 30 in the world heli pilot I agree. The game feels like more of an AA avoidance simulator than anything else. It's unplayable for me often even when I'm doing everything right. Hit by easy to use tow missiles from across the map, and agm missiles from the jet and other helicopter that never give you a warning they're coming.
