good game, people hate it because dlc policy and dlc policy is annoying but base game is pretty nice without dlc, (unless you play outside of europe in which you need common sense)
useless lazy developers. why the ♥♥♥♥ would you release an unfinished game on steam? im starting to think you ve been jerking off at your desks for the past 8 years.
Let me preface by saying: If you are good with ignoring issues in the games you play, then this will easily be one of the best tactical shooters you could every play, but my god, the issues in this game are very difficult to ignore. I want to love this game, I really do, but given this game's development history, I would never recommend ANYONE play it
To be clear: this is not my first time playing the game. I have around 2500-3000 hours across both of my Tarkov accounts. To that, you may ask: Dave, why do you have 2 accounts?
Yo, Song of Syx is one dope city-building game in a fantasy world that's got a lot of replayability. If you into games like Rimworld and Dwarf Fortress, then you gonna be all over this one.
This game's got all the features that make city-building games mad addictive. The resource management systems are super complex, and the AI is smart AF, so you gotta be thinking ahead all the time. Plus, the world is freaking massive, and it's all generated randomly, so there's always something new to find.
When you compare it to Rimworld, Song of Syx is a little more focused on realistic economics and managing your resources. Meanwhile, Dwarf Fortress is the king of complex city-building mechanics, and while Song of Syx ain't quite as deep, it's still pretty damn close.
But let's keep it real, there are a few downsides to this game. It ain't
