I met him in prison. We were cellmates. I learned many things from him and I am very grateful to him to this day. During breaks from the voluntary work we did to reduce our sentences, he taught me Latin, logic, Roman history, and art. Today I owe a large part of my erudition to this noble rogue. My only regret from my time in prison is not having helped him during the moments of sexual coercion. The other prisoners took advantage of his fragility and innocence to force him to do things that he previously did only by choice. But anyway, that's water under the bridge...
