I want to apologize on behalf of me and my friend for that gank. it was his first dark souls game, and i was just telling him bout how ds2 ng+ changes enemy placements and adds red phantoms, so he thought you were an npc given the timing and location. I joined in at the end because something came up for him that meant he REALLY had to leave and i wanted him to be able to get the fire. again, sorry from both of us
