Just a heads up... I use Steam to play games I am interested in, games I've purchased with hard earned cash. I do not use Steam as an alternate to Discord, Facebook, X, etc... And, If I should tell someone that is spamming my chat with 50 game requests, to stop, I expect them to stop. There is a relatively new account (1 year) named "mlk". I've had to block all communications with that person for this very reason. Pages of spam for one game I don't give a rat's ass about. So many, there were spam warnings. If you wish to chat, stop by any time. But please, one notification will do. I spend most of my time in Elite Dangerous. I find it relaxing and interesting. I'm starting to play CS2 (or CS:GO if you like), but, to be honest - I've lost most of my skill in the game from disuse. peace

Hey all, just got back from 4+weeks at the hospital and rehab. Long story short, came down with this current flu 4 months after getting the vaccine. If I had not gotten the vaccine, I probably would not be around any more. I was in the kitchen making something to eat and started feeling weak.Put the food away and started back to lay down and use my cell phone. Five steps later my legs went out from under me and I basically fell into a sitting position and then on my hands and knees. Finally go the phone and called 911. Admitted from ER to the hospital for 5 days then rehab for just over 3 weeks. This is when we found that my right hip is in End Stage Failure - so new hip sometime soon. I'll be on and off over the next week. Hope you and yours are doing better.

Hey all, been spending my time on a rather odd thing, I built a linux box from spare parts and am trying to get it game-worthy. Got it playing games like Elite Dangerous and CS2 (sorta), but I think the old EVGA GTX660 OC is not up to Source 2 levels. I should be dropping an EVGA GTX1060 SSC in there soon, but it might be a couple of weeks.
