ARGs in team fortress 2 have always seemed like a strange case to me, on one hand It's supposed to be THE TF2 with it's original and iconic wacky characters, ragdolls and funny cartoonish gore + physics with the source engine and it's capitalist economy, but on the other hand, with that aspect in mind it feels like everytime there's a new serious ARG or spooky series relating to TF2 it adds more to the shock/spook value because it turns TF2's whole vibe from a cartoonish goofy style movement shooter into an actual genuine scary film which is pretty uncommon, main reason it's so rare is because most of the times it usually goes to GMOD for all the ARGs or something similar/related to that.
